Founder, Independent Educational Consultant
Meaghan Rysdale
As the Founder of Hoosier Academic Coaching, Rysdale is committed to helping students discover their path to academic success. She attended the University of South Carolina, University of Exeter, and Indiana University. Her background ranges in education, politics, statistics, and business administration. During her PhD studies at Indiana University, she realized that her true passion was mentoring and guiding students to achieve their goals. As a result, she made the decision to leave to pursue a career in educational consulting, leveraging her expertise and experience to support students on their academic journeys. When she isn't working with students, she enjoys volunteering for Big Brothers Big Sisters or taking her yorkie, Teddy, to the dog park!
Executive Assistant & Community Engagement Specialist
Megan Hodgson
Megan Hodgson is our Executive Assistant & Engagement Specialist at Hoosier Academic Coaching. She is a graduate of IUPUI with a diverse background in general studies. Hodgson helps to assist students with opportunities outside of the classroom that work to enhance the student's overall unique academic portfolio. During the week, Hodgson and Rysdale work closely with industries of interest to supply unique opportunities to their students. When she isn’t working with us she is out competing for National Rollerskating titles or Horseback Riding Competitions. She frequently volunteers with her two pet donkeys taking them to visit children at local non-profit events. In the evenings you may catch her taking her dog, Gershwin, to the dog park!
Community Partner Specialist
Jack Rysdale
Jack Rysdale is a graduate from the University of Exeter and Cambridge University in the United Kingdom. Recently he completed his CFA and CAIA certifications. His full time position is currently in finance but when he is not working in finance he is out assisting us with Community Partners and tutoring part time in areas related to Economics, Finance, and Math. When he isn’t working or assisting our team, he enjoys playing basketball, pickleball, golf, and watching sports.

Rashid Marcano Rivera
Rashid Marcano Rivera has various backgrounds and degrees in Math, Statistics, Social Sciences, Spanish, Economics, and History. When he isn’t teaching courses at Indiana University he enjoys traveling the world and watching Eurovision. He is a recent PhD graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and currently teaches as a Visiting Professor. He specializes in tutoring Economics, Math, Spanish, Finance, History, Politics, Data Science, and Statistics.

Peyton, our talented and dedicated social media intern, plays an invaluable role in our team at Hoosier Academic Coaching, where she adeptly handles various promotional tasks. As a current student, her passion for music, design, and public relations fuels her exceptional work, elevating her background and hobby interests to new heights. Beyond her academic pursuits, Peyton's adventurous spirit takes her on exciting travels, and her compassionate nature shines through her commitment to serving the community through meaningful volunteer work. We are truly fortunate to have Peyton as a valued member of our team, contributing her unique skills and vibrant personality to our endeavors.

David Franco
David Franco, an esteemed member of our team, serves as our exceptional SAT/ACT Prep Specialist. A proud graduate of Purdue University, his extensive expertise spans multiple disciplines, including Math, Statistics, Business, and Engineering. David's remarkable achievements, including attaining the highest scores on standardized tests, reflect his unwavering commitment to excellence. Beyond his contributions to Hoosier Academic Coaching, David's passions extend to coaching local soccer teams, engaging in invigorating workouts at the gym, sharing his mathematical knowledge at the University level, and enjoying quality time with his beloved canine companion, Teddy, at the vibrant dog park nearby. His multifaceted pursuits reflect his dedication to personal and professional growth, making him a truly valuable asset to our organization.
